AEPL | A Music Production Collective, Studio and Label

Hi all, given the recent rebranding, Aurora Eclipse is feeling fresher than ever! I have finally defined the company as “A Music Production Collective, Studio and Label” and I wanted to write a very quick blog explains this in words while of course sharing the very first in terms of AEPL Vlogs.

Aurora has gone through many changes through the years which would make sense as every time I grow, the business grows with me. I have battled with the idea of even having a company for some years as essentially, it was just me working on all the projects solely with the old collaboration here and there. This struggle was because in all essence, AEPL was never suppose to be a “back of house paper trail” so to speak. I always wanted to work with other creatives across the board, establish a collaborative team and put creatives from across the board in the same room. Slowly but surely, that has been happening over the past year or so!

The company is very much moving in a multi-genre, multi-artist direction and for those confused by this move… Let me reassure you that Cinema, or “The Cinematic” is still very much at the heart of AEPL and it is a theme consistent among our collaborators too, some of whom have impressive careers as actors and musicians. If we consider the vast scope of film projects out there which all require new and unique musical approaches to best underscore their visuals, modern film score is by its very nature is a multi-genre art form.

I myself will be continuing to compose to picture, record and release film scores as I remain one of the Aurora Eclipse artists and engineers, I will contribute where I can to others work to bring a cinematic edge as I’m sure they will do for me. At present, we have composers, musicians, engineers, graphic designers, photographers, cinematographers and press all in the same room talking which is incredible, who knows where this will go.

Please do follow us, we hope you will support us on our journey and enjoy watching us grow as we begin our new venture!

Until next time, be well.
